LIST OF COMMERCE COURSES:

CMA: Recently, ICWAI course has renamed as CMA. The full form of CMA is COST AND MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT. They have equal opportunities for both CA and CMA Courses, there are lakhs of job opportunities around the world in various fields like service sector, telecommunication, banking, insurance, software, industries, production sector and many other etc. Salaries for CMA candidates are excellent. In stock exchange field also job opportunities are available for CMA Candidates.

SALARY: cost accountant will get an offer of 35000-50000 as salary after passing the final course and can earn more than a lack of getting experience.
CMA Course details:

CMA Foundation:

eligibility: Students who are interested in joining in CMA they must pass in intermediate from any group.
After completion of the 12th Inter, They must enroll for the foundation course for the academic year.
CMA organizes the examinations twice a year in the months of June and December. (Students must enroll for the foundation before 6 months of the exam)
Exam pattern:
To qualify in the examination, Students should obtain 100 marks out of 200 marks.

CMA Foundation Subjects:
Paper 1: Fundamentals of Economics and Management is for 50 Marks
Paper 2: Fundamentals of Accounting is for 50 Marks
Paper 3: Fundamentals of Laws and Ethics is for 50 Marks
Paper 4: Fundamentals of Business Mathematics & Statistic is for 50 Marks
Students who had qualified in the foundation course, they must apply for Intermediate course.

CMA Intermediate:

After completion of the CMA foundation, They must enroll for CMA Intermediate course for the academic year.
CMA organizes the examinations twice a year in the months of June and December. (Students must enroll for the CMA Intermediate before 1 year of the exam)

Exam pattern:
To qualify in the examination, Students should obtain 100 marks out of 200 marks.
CMA Intermediate exam consists of two groups:
GROUP-I – In group -I, students must face four papers
GROUP-II – In group -II, students must face four papers

Each paper is for 100 marks. Students should obtain 40 marks in every subject and also obtain 50 % aggregate in all the four subjects.
Students can avail exemption if he/she gets 60 marks in any subject, which means he/she no need to take that exam in next attempt.

Subjects in GROUP: I, II:

GROUP-I:
Paper 5 Financial Accounting is for 100 marks
Paper 6 Laws, Ethics and Governance is for 100 marks
Paper 7 Direct Taxation is for 100 marks
Paper 8 Cost accounting and financial management is for 100 marks

GROUP-II:
Paper 9 Operation Management Information System is for 100 marks
Paper 10 Cost and Management Accounting is for 100 marks
Paper 11 Indirect Taxation is for 100 marks
Paper 12 Company Accounts & Audit is for 100 marks

Students can write Group I or Group II or both at a time, Students must qualify in intermediate both group I and Group II to apply for CMA Final.

CMA FINAL:

Students can enroll for CMA Final course for an academic year, after finishing their Intermediate students need to finish the practical training for 6 months period. Students must register one year before writing the exam.

CMA Final exam consists of two groups:
GROUP-I – In group -I, students must face four papers
GROUP-II – In group -II, students must face four papers

Paper 14- Advanced Financial Management
Paper 15- Business Strategy & Strategic Cost Management
Paper 16- Tax Management and Practice

GROUP: II

Paper 17: Strategic Performance Management

Paper 19- Cost and Management Audit
Paper 20- Financial Analysis & Business Valuation

After completion CMA final, they became a member of CMA. He/she can do a job or they can do own practice (Need 2 years of practical training).

Foundation Programme:

PAPER 4: FUNDAMENTALS OF ACCOUNTING AND AUDITING

Students who had qualified in course, they can apply for EXECUTIVE PROGRAMME.

EXECUTIVE PROGRAMME:

  • After completion of the CS foundation program or any degree or CPT or CMA foundation course, They must enroll for CS executive program for an academic year.
  • ICSI organizes the EXECUTIVE PROGRAMME exam twice a year in the months of June and December. (Students must enroll in the executive program before 1 year of the exam)
  • In the same year, 28th February for appearing in both modules in December Exams
  • 31st May for appearing in single module in December Examination in the same year
  • For appearing in both modules in June Exam in the next year of 31st August.
  • 30th November for appearing in single module in June Examination in the next year

EXECUTIVE PROGRAMME exam consists of two modules:

MODULE 1 – In module -I, students must face four papers
MODULE-II – In module -II, students must face THREE papers

  • Each paper is for 100 marks. Students should obtain 40 marks in every subject and also obtain 50 % aggregate in all the four subjects.
  • Students can avail exemption if he/she gets 60 marks in any subject, which means he/she no need to take that exam in next attempt.

Students can enroll for PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMME course for an academic year, after finishing their EXECUTIVE PROGRAMME. Students must register one year before writing the exam.

PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMME exam consists of four MODULES:
MODULE 1 – In module -I, students must face two papers
MODULE 2 – In module -2, students must face two papers
MODULE 3 – In module -3, students must face two papers
MODULE 4 -In module -4, students must face two papers
