Sri Kalahasti temple is just 36kms away from Tirupati. It is one of the most famous adn important Lord Shiva temples located in Andhra Pradesh. The meaning of the name is SRI= SPIDER, KALA= SNAKE, HASTI = ELEPHANT. It is said to be the place where the great Kannappa, who was ready to  gives his both eyes to stop blood flowing from the Shiva Linga .It is very famous for its vayu linga, which is one of the Panchabhoota Sthalam, it represents wind. People who visit tirupati must also visit this temple for its holiness. The temple is associated with Rahu and Kethu (of the nine grahams). And the river Suvarnamukhi which is on the north side to Sri Kalahasthi takes the course to wash the west wall of the famous temple. This temple is known as the Kailash of the South or Dakshin Kailash.

In  srinivasa mangapuram,  Lord Venkatesawara who is also known here as Prasanna Venkateswara or Kalyana Venkateswara. Sri kalyana venkateswara swamy temple which is one of the most famous  temples of Lord Venkateswara Swamy is just 12kms away from trupati RTC bus stand. It is regarded as the lord-prescribed alternative for Tirumala Devastana, and has been known for its great divine power. As compared to the main temple ( Sri Tirupati Venkateswara Swamy temple), here it can be easily reached and Darshan is not usually preceded by long Queues and doesn’t take much time. As the name it self shows, it has great significance for newly married couples, who are forbidden by tradition to visit the  Sri Tirumala Balaji temple.

SRI PADMAVATHI DEVI ALAYAM(ALAMELU MANGAPURAM)

Sri Padmavathi Devi temple is located just about 5 kms away from Tirupati. Sri Padmavathi Devi temple is located at Tiruchanoor also called Alamelumangapuram.  She is the wife of Lord Venkateswara and is prayed and visited by thousands of pilgrims every day. Sri Padmavathi Devi is a greatly loved as a source of compassion, thereby giving her the name of Alamelu Manga. The name Padmavathi means the holy lady who emerged from Lotus. And here, the goddess Padmavathi who emerged from Lotus has a great history. And the name Alamelumangamma is actually the incarnation of Lord Mahalakshmi which also has great history. People belive that if the girl who got newly married prays to Padmavathi Devi will have a great future. And so, this temple is visited by many newly married couples.

SRI GOVINDA RAJA SWAMY TEMPLE

Sri Govinda Raja Swamy Temple is quite near from the Tirupati railway station. The main attraction of the temple is its Gaali Gopuram which is visible from any distance.  Govindaraja Swamy is the elder brother of Swamy Venkateswara, who took great part in  the ever-significent marriage between Sri Venkateswara Swamy and Padmavathi Devi Ammavaru. Sri Govinda Raja Swamy is prayed by all devotees for his bestowed ability to remove of all the problems and blesses the people with wealth. Apart from Sri Govindaraja Swamy’s ,The temple complex also houses the sanctums of Andal Ammavaru, Lord Sri Krishna, Sri Ramanuja Thirumangai Alwar, Sri Vedanta Desika, Sri Lakshmi and Sri Manevala Mahamunlu.At the time of Bramhotsavam of Govindaraja Swamy during the month of may-june( Vaisakha masam), a large number of devotees visit this temple every year.

SRI VARAHA SWAMY TEMPLE

It is almost 20 kms from Tirupati. This temple is home for Lord Vishnu in his Varaha avatharam who is believed to be the caretaker of Tirumala hills. Sri Varaha Swamy temple is on the banks of river Pushkarni and pilgrims has to take bath before entering the temple which is must. According to Bhrahmapuranas, Lord Venkateswara swamy has to take permission from Sri Varaha Swamy to reside in Tirumala, which was first known as Varaha Swamy Kshetram. And Naivedyam(food offered to god) should be first offered to Sri Varaha Swamy. So here, pilgrims first offer prayers and Naivedhyam to Varaha Swamy before entering the main Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple.

SRI KAPILESWARA SWAMY TEMPLE

This is the only temple of Lord shiva in Tirupati. It is only 3kms from Tirupati or we can say it is at the foot of Tirumala hills. The temple is site for the Sacred waterfall called Kapila Theertham. Which is also the most beautiful view, where most of the tourist show interest to visit. It is more beautiful during rainy season. And most of the pilgrims believe that by taking bath under this kapila teertham waterfall, they can get rid of all their sins.

SRI KODANDA RAMA SWAMY TEMPLE

Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy Temple is one of those temples which has great historical significance. This temple is hardly 3kms away from Tirupati. According to our puranas, Sri Rama, Lakshmana and Sita Devi stayed for a night at this place, during their way back to Ayodhya after the War. This temple has separate sanctums for Lakshmana, Sita and other Idols inside the main temple. This is one of the pleasant temple where you get quick darshan and no need to wait in long quos. This is also a must visit temple because of its great divine power.

SRI VEDA NARAYANA SWAMY TEMPLE

This temple is famous for its spectacular architecture. Most of the tourists are attracted to the way it is built and the scantums. It is located in Nagalapuram. It is 70kms away from Tirupati. This is a Matsya avataram( means Fish avatar)  of Lord Vishnu which is the first Avatar of Lord Vishnu. According to our puranas, in this avatar Lord Vishnu saved all the 4 Vedas from Rakshasa Somakudu and gave them back to Brahma. This temple is built by Sri Krishna devaraya which is dedicated to Lord Veda Narayana in the memory of his mother Nagala Devi.

SRI AGATSYA SWAMY TEMPLE

The temple is located at 12kms away from Tirupati. It is located at the junction of 3 rivers Swarnamukhi, Bhima, Kalyan. The main attraction of this temple is the presence of 3 beautiful sculptures at the entrance. Inside the temple there is a separate sanctum for goddess Parvathi Devi. And near the tank there are sanctums of Lord Rama, Lakshmana, Seetha Devi, and Hamunan. And the amazing part is,  you can have darshan  of the god in the middle of the marvelous nature. Best time to visit this temple is between March to September.

SRI VENUGOPALA SWAMY TEMPLE

Sri Venugopala Swamy Temple is situated in Karvetinagaram, which is around 48 km from Tirupati. This temple is sanctified by Sri Ramanujacharya. The most attractive part is on either side of the main idol of Lord Sri Venugopala Swamy, there are idols of Sri Rukmini Devi Ammavaru and Sri Satyabhama Ammavaru. It also houses a temple of Sri Seetharamula Pattabhishekam. Vaikuntha Ekadasi, Gokulashtami, Brahmotsavam and Teppotsavam are the main festivals celebrated in this temple .
